After Nicolas Sanson (French, 1600-1667). Hand colored map of North America, Noorder America, circa 17th century. 1675 written in pencil lower right. Map 8 1/2" x 12". Tears and large loss to paper upper left and along bottom edge, holes and tears along left side, tears and losses to paper at corners and along edges, toning and foxing throughout; discoloration to mount, chips and losses to frame.
