P.L. (Pierre Louis) Dagoty. French porcelain urn. Cobalt and gilt decorated, with swans and harp, foliate decoration on the base, rim and handles. Marked on the underside in red P.L. Dagoty & [illegible], Paris. 13"H to top of handle. One handle detached and broken into several pieces (most pieces present), with glue residue from previous repairs; attached handle repaired, chips to base; scratches and minor losses to gilt decoration. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
