Carl Thieme German porcelain lidded urn. Decorated with flowers and courting scenes, figural handles and finial. T over X mark to the underside. 16 1/4"H to top of lid. Firing crack to the underside, repairs to the rim and neck, lines to the neck, repair and chip to the plume on one handle, lid finial detached and chipped (some pieces present) and with evidence of previous repairs, chip and loss to glaze on one side of painted scene. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
