After Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954). French lithograph exhibition poster, Madame de Pompadour, Pavillon de Marsan, 1951. Signed H. Matisse and dated 51 in the plate lower left and pencil signed Mourlot lower right. 29 3/4" x 22 1/4" (with frame 36 3/8" x 28 1/8"). Toning to paper, tear in right margin into image, scratches and creases throughout, staining lower right through Mourlot signature; foxing to mat, no glass in frame. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
