Josef Danhauser, Biedermeier armchair. Walnut and pear wood, cream upholstery, brass caps on the feet. Circa 1820. 23 3/4"W x 22 3/4"D x 31 1/2"H. Seat height 18"H. Cracks to veneer along back and along arms. Provenance: purchased Karl Kemp, New York; private collection, New York City.
