Murder in the Cathedral, Harcourt, Brace and Company, New York, first edition, 1935, blue cloth boards and gilt lettering on the spine; Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, Harcourt Brace and Company, New York, first edition, 1939, with paper dust jacket and later plastic dust jacket. Murder with bookplate on front pastedown, foxing and discoloration to pages and throughout, corners bumped and fraying, fraying to edges and spine, scratches to boards; Practical Cats with stamp on front endpaper and Newark Free Public Library stamp on the title page, some toning to pages, library labels on spine and back of dust jacket, some fading and tears to dust jacket.
