Russian military books. Centenary of the War Ministry 1802-1902, D.A. Skalon, in 5 volumes, 1902, St. Petersburg. Printed in Cyrillic. Largest volume 11 1/4" x 9 1/2" x 2 3/4". All with wear, fraying and losses to leather on covers and spines, spines split on two volumes, one volume missing spine, some warping to covers, bindings loose and separating, foxing and toning to pages, wear and losses to covers and corners of covers. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
