Set of 8 Chelsea English porcelain cabinet plates. Cobalt with gilt enamel decoration and gilt rims, hand painted scenes of exotic birds at center and on the rims. All with gold anchor marks to the undersides. Each 9 3/8"-diameter. Remnants of a PB Eighty-Four (Parke-Bernet) label at center of one plate. 2 with chips to the rims. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
