Continental mahogany game table. Carved dolphin base, sliding flip top with felt playing surface, one drawer. Open 35 3/4"W x 35 3/4"D x 30 1/2"H; closed 35 3/4"W x 17 3/4"D x 31 1/4"H. Scratches and chips to veneer on top, splits to top, missing esutcheon on drawer and lock plate detached (lock and key present), splits and cracks to base, repairs to acanthus leaf on base, minor chips and scratches to feet, splits and later bracing to underside of table. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
