Pierre Choderlos de Laclos (French, 1741-1803). Les Liaisons dangereuses, by de Laclos, with illustrations by Alastair, Black Sun Press, Paris, 1929, in 2 volumes. Numbered 375 (volume 1) and 618 (volume 2) from the edition of 1000 on Moirans paper. Each volume 11 1/8" x 8 7/8". Both with tears and staining to covers, volume 1 split at spine, both volumes bindings loose and with toning and foxing to pages, creases and minor tears to corners and edges of pages on both volumes. Provenance: Estate of Princess Maria "Mimi" Romanoff.
