After A.D.M. Cooper (American, 1856-1924). Chromolithograph, The Burning Arrow, 1904 Taber Prang Art Co., Springfield, Mass. In a paint decorated oak frame. With note on verso "The Burning Arrow. This picture belongs to Dr. Robert Brown & always hung in his class room or office until he retired as superintendant of Stroudsburg Schools, at which time he presented it to [illegible]." 19 1/2" x 25 1/2" (with frame 26 1/2" x 32 1/2"). Losses to color at top and along left side, imperfection lower right; frame with scratches, chips, losses and discoloration throughout.
