Chinese blue and white porcelain ginger jar. Baluster form, figures in landscape. Kangxi style mark to the underside. Typed label on the underside Philadelphia Museum of Art and with an SBP (Sotheby Parke Bernet) auction label. With a wooden stand and a mismatched wooden lid. Stand marked on the underside. Jar 11 3/4"H (not including lid or stand). 2 chips to rim of jar, line to rim, large firing crack to the underside with lines into the body of the jar on either side; splits and cracks to stand; later lid does not fit and with splits and cracks, finial loose.
