Lot 316:
American sword, circa early 19th century. Etched blade with American Eagle with E Pluribus Unum banner and various other motifs, bone grip, eagle head pommel, leather scabbard. Sword appears unmarked. 34 1/2"L (blade 29"L). Rusting and discoloration to blade and throughout, quillion broken off at one end, guard bent; leather scabbard with cracking, tears and losses to leather, wear to patina on brass.
