Violin in the style of Jacobus Stainer, with paper label inside with spurious 1646 date, violin 23 1/4"L. With 2 bows and a case, bows both unmarked, longer bow 29 1/4"L. Violin missing strings and bridge, with scratches and wear throughout, indentations and discoloration from bridge and near chin rest, split to front; case as is, with peeling and losses throughout, no handle; bows both missing hair, tips of both chipped and partially missing, frog cracked on one.
