Chinoiserie floor lamp, red painted iron, faux bamboo form, bone font, hardstone and wood carved beads. Unsigned. With silk shade with Chinoiserie cherry blossom motif. Lamp base 13 3/4"W not including shade, 57 3/4"H to top of finial. Splits to bone, minor paint loss, repairs to bamboo stems; cord cut.Provenance: The estate of Fred Leighton, New York City. Fred Leighton was a jeweler and the owner of Fred Leighton, a jewelry store on Madison Avenue in New York City.
