Description
2 photogravures from Alfred Stieglitz’s Camera Work. William Wimerding (American, 1858-1932), Over the House-Tops – New York, on Japan paper, No. 24, 1908, image 6" x 7 1/2" (Japan sheet 8" x 11 5/8", mount 8 1/4" x 11 7/8"); Alvin Langdon Coburn (British / American, 1888-1966), The Bridge – Sunlight, No. 15, 1906, image 7 3/4" x 6 1/4" (mount 11 7/8" x 8 3/8"). Mounts both with toning and minor discoloration; Over the House-Tops with losses along the edge of the sheet and mount; The Bridge – Sunlight detached from mount and corners torn on smaller mount, losses to edges of mounts.
