Description
Woven Greek wool rug in red and white with Greek motifs and lettering. Central figure represents a Greek figure shown in profile holding a spear or staff. Greek key design borders the entire rug. Lettering states "KPHTH, " Greek word for Crete, and "KNOSSOS, " in reference to the ancient Minoan palace. Slight wear throughout, no visible tears, holes, or stains. 4.5′ long x 2′ wide.
