Pippin. Poster for Pippin at Theater an der Wien (Vienna), Austria. 46 1/2" x 33". As is, with tape repairs, tear from top edge into lettering, creases and tears along edges and to corners, creases throughout. Poster artwork / Pippin logo originally created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Pippin, Imperial Theatre, 1972-1977; and Wien Theater, Vienna, 1974. In 1973 Tony Walton won both the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Set Design and the Tony for Best Scenic Design for his work on the show. The Broadway production of Pippin ran for 1,944 performances.
