Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Valmouth. 16 pieces original set design artwork. Various mediums, including gouache, ink and pencil on paper, illustration board and other materials. Includes sketches, model pieces and other set design elements. Many signed. With a notebook with additional sketches and notes, 10 prints and a poster for the Lyric Hammersmith also designed by Tony Walton. Largest pencil sketch sheet 14 7/8" x 20 3/8". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the West End productions of Valmouth, Lyric Opera House, 1958 and the Saville Theatre, 1959; and the off-Broadway production, York Playhouse, 1960.
