Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). The Good Doctor. Group of scenic design artwork. Includes 9 ink drawings on tracing paper with handwritten notations, original icon backdrop with printed cutouts and painted background mounted on foam board with notations in ink, original tablecloth acrylic mounted on foam board and with handwritten notation in ink, and one additional backdrop painting, original acrylic and pencil "patchwork" paint elevation, photo reference for shingles, 10 photocopied images of various set design elements, 4 printed and cut paper star backdrops. Icon backdrop 10 3/4" x 15" including mount. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of The Good Doctor, Eugene O’Neill Theatre, 1973-1974.
