Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Valmouth. Group of 26 pieces original costume design artwork. 11 mixed media with gouache, ink and pencil on paper, various characters / actors, many with character names and handwritten notations, Dr. Dee sheet 18 3/4" x 14 5/8". With 13 sketches, pencil on paper and tracing paper, various characters. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the West End productions of Valmouth, Lyric Opera House, 1958 and the Saville Theatre, 1959; and the off-Broadway production, York Playhouse, 1960.
