Poster by Richard Amsel, mounted on foam core board, 38" x 25 1/2"; 3 books: Agatha Christie, Murder on the Orient Express, Pocket Books, New York, 1974; 2 copies M. Wiesenthal, The Belle Epoque of the Orient-Express, 1979; Venice Simplon Orient-Express brochure, c. 1970s. Poster with creases and waviness throughout, some discoloration to margins, tears along right side and at corners; Agatha Christie book binding loose, discoloration to pages, losses to covers and spine; Wiesenthal books both with tears to dust jackets; brochure with creases, wear. Tony Walton was the production and costume designer for the film Murder on the Orient Express, Paramount, 1974. In 1975 he was nominated for the Oscar for Best Costume Design for his work on the film.
