Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). A Fable for Now (commercials). Group of 25 pieces of original artwork and prints. 6 sepia ink sketches on paper and 1 pencil sketch on paper; hand painted acetate overlay; 6 hand-tinted negative prints, a partially tinted print and 4 additional negative prints and 6 prints of the same images. With 11 photos of the "embroidery" style designs, 4 photos of the sets with actors and 3 negatives of the same images. The Procrastinating Lion 12" x 16 5/8" including mount. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for Mobil’s "A Fable For Now" series of television commercials, c. 1976.
