Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). The Act. 17 pieces of set design artwork, various mediums including acrylic, fabric, mosaic, most mounted on foam board and with Tony Walton’s notations in ink, largest 15" x 15 1/2" including mount. With 8 sheets of rough storyboard style sketches, sepia ink on paper and with notations throughout; and a group of 29 copies of set model photos. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of The Act, Majestic Theatre, 1977-78. Liza Minelli won a Tony Award in 1978 for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in the show.
