Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Moliere’s L’Amour medecin (The Love Doctor). Group of 8 pieces of original costume design artwork. Various characters, mixed media with gouache and pencil on paper. 7 initialed TW, 1 unsigned. 2 mounted on foam board and sealed in plastic, one with typed label on verso. "Our Heroine" sheet 18" x 12" (with mount 20 1/4" x 14"). All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for "Moliere Musical Project" – Wright & Forrest, The Love Doctor, c. 1959. The show was eventually produced in London in 1959, but it does not appear that Tony Walton was involved.
