Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). The Rape of Lucretia (opera). 11 pieces original costume design artwork. Watercolor, ink and gouache on paper, some with attached fabric swatches. Various characters. All initialed TW in sepia ink and most with Tony Walton’s handwritten notations in ink and pencil and some with additional notations on verso. Each sheet 22 1/2" x 15 1/4". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the opera The Rape of Lucretia, Edinburgh Festival, Scotland, 1963.
