Otello (opera). 54 pieces original costume design artwork. 51 sketches, pencil on paper, some with Tony Walton’s handwritten notations, various characters, each sheet 16 3/4" x 14"; 3 gouaches on tracing paper: Nuns, coloring for Cypriot men and women, Musicians. With a folder of papers relating to the scenic and costume design for the show, including typed and handwritten notes, costume lists, prop lists. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the opera Otello, Spoleto Festival, Italy, 1965.
