Description
Wooden ship model of USS Essex frigate. Tag reads, "As ordered by the then secretary of the Navy, midshipman David G. Farragut at the age of ten years and one month took command of this ship on July 12, 1812." Appears to be in very good condition with all pieces intact. 31" h x 51" w x 8" d.
