Group of 24 pieces set design artwork. 5 cartoon sounds, acrylic, collage and marker on paper; Morning Show skyline, gouache and collage on paper; 2 skyline prints with acetate overlays and a third acetate overlay; skyline drawing, pencil on tracing paper; skyline, mixed media with gouache and applied strips on acetate overlays; The Grass is Always Greener backdrop, collage and with a photograph of the same image and a reference photo; Tess backdrop, enlarged Lauren Bacall photo; 11 sheets of notes and sketches, sepia ink on tracing paper; Time Magazine cover layout, collage with gouache and acetate overlay and with 2 additional acetate overlays. With a group of reference materials of cartoons and cartoonists for The Inkpot and 2 Woman of the Year window card posters with Raquel Welch and Debbie Reynolds as Tess. Skyline backdrop 17 3/4" x 23 5/8". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Woman of the Year, Palace Theatre, 1981-1983. Lauren Bacall won the Tony Award in 1981 for Best Actress in a Musical for her performance in WOTY, and the show was nominated for Best Musical the same year.
