I’m Not Rappaport. Group of memorabilia and ephemera. Black crew jacket with leather sleeves and embroidered T.W. (size L), 4 copies of the I’m Not Rappaport play (various publishers and editions) including one copy with Tony Walton’s handwritten notations and one signed and with inscription from Herb Gardner to Tony Walton, Playbill, programs, and five promotional buttons. All as is and with some wear. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of I’m Not Rappaport, Booth Theatre, 1985-1988. The show won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1986. Compiled by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of I’m Not Rappaport, Booth Theatre, 1985-1988; subsequent touring productions, and the 2002 revival. I’m Not Rappaport won the Tony Award for Best Play in 1986. Tony Walton designed the poster / Playbill art, as well as the sets for the show.
