Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Anything Goes. Set model. Mixed media with wood, acrylic, gouache, paper, printed pieces, metal and other materials. 38 3/4"L x 22 1/2"D x 24 1/8"H. As is and in production used condition, and with loose, missing and otherwise damaged pieces. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Anything Goes, Vivian Beaumont Theatre, 1987-1989. Tony Walton was nominated for Drama Desk and Tony awards for both scenic and costume design in 1988. The show won the Tony for Best Revival in 1988 and the production’s cast and crew were nominated for — and won — several other awards.
