Description
Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). She Loves Me. Group of 12 pieces original scenic design artwork, mostly paint elevations. Various mediums, including acrylic, gouache, ink and crayon. Mounted on illustration board or foamcore. With Tony Walton’s handwritten notations, most in gold ink. Upper Level Color Gradation 23" x 27" including mount. All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of She Loves Me, Roundabout Theatre (and later the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and then the Savoy Theatre in London), 1993-1994. Tony Walton was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Scenic Design in a Play or Musical, and the show was nominated for Best Revival of a Musical in 1994.
