Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Ashes to Ashes. Group of 6 pieces set design artwork, first roughs. Prints, with various collage and hand embellishments, all mounted on black illustration board and hand labeled in gold ink, 3 additionally initialed TW and dated 99. With a black and white copy with hand embellishments, 8 color copies of sketches, garden reference photos including magazine cut out and 6 photo prints and an additional print on fabric, copies of rug reference materials, and 8 pages of photocopied ground plans for the Gramercy Theatre. B State 14 1/8" x 13 3/4". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the off-Broadway production of Ashes to Ashes, Roundabout Theatre Company, Gramercy Theatre, 1999
