Tony Walton (British, 1934-2022). Annie Get Your Gun. Group of 32 pieces set design artwork, including originals and prints, mostly paint elevations. 4 originals, most mixed media with gouache, including Annie’s Surprise Entrance Bush, Big Top swags, Tipi, Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show Main Entrance panel; 12 mounted prints and some with collage and hand embellishments, and 15 additional prints and copies; with reference photos for bleachers and chair, and the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show stencil. Entrance panel 18" x 17". All as is and in production used condition. Created by Tony Walton for the Broadway production of Annie Get Your Gun, Marquis Theatre, 1999-2001; and the subsequent U.S. tour, 2000. Annie Get Your Gun won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1999.
