Edward Gordon Craig (British, 1872-1966). Woodcut, Barnardo and Francisco, 2nd state, the original from The Cranach Press Hamlet. Dated 1927 in pencil lower right, "in Weimar" written in pencil lower left, artist initialed [illegible] EGC and dated 1947 in the lower margin and "2 state only 5 copies printed copy No. 2 Blk 2 37B" written in pencil along the lower edge. 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" (with frame 11 1/4" x 9 1/2"). Some waviness to paper, discoloration and toning to sheet and mount.
