Oscar Micheaux (American, 1884-1951). The Conquest: The Story of a Negro Pioneer, by The Pioneer, first edition, The Woodruff Press, 1913. 7 3/4" x 5 1/4". With writing in pencil on front endpapers, corners bumped, shelf wear, some wear to cloth boards and losses to lettering, toning to pages.
