Chinese low-pile wool rug, possibly Samarkand. Pictorial composition set in terracotta field with ivory border. 4’4" x 8′ 8". Wear throughout, consistent with age. Pile loss throughout central field and borders. Fraying and wear to edges. Colors have aged and mellowed.
