Lot 150:
Sold for: $475
Description
This lot features a significant assortment of fifteen factory-sealed action figures from the Hasbro G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero "Talking Battle Commanders" series. The collection includes multiple examples of key characters: General Hawk (G.I. Joe Commander), Stalker (Ranger), Overkill (B.A.T. Leader), and Cobra Commander. Each 3.75-inch scale figure is constructed of articulated plastic and vinyl, featuring a specialized electronic backpack mechanism designed to play three distinct battle commands and combat sounds. The figures remain housed in their original plastic blister packs mounted on illustrated cardboard backing cards. The reverse of each card includes a detailed character file card biography, accessory list, and instructions for the electronic features. Markings indicate a 1991 copyright by Hasbro, Inc., with cards printed in Hong Kong and components manufactured in China.
Condition: All items are in original, unopened condition with factory-sealed blisters. The cardboard backings exhibit minor shelf wear consistent with age, including light scuffing to edges and occasional soft corners. Blister bubbles remain clear and securely attached to the cards. The electronic sound features are untested as the items are sealed; original A-76 button cell batteries are included but may be depleted or require replacement due to age. All parts and accessories are original and complete as issued.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program. Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
Condition report:
Items are in New Old Stock (NOS) condition, remaining factory-sealed in their original packaging. The clear plastic blister bubbles are generally well-preserved, clear, and securely attached to the cardstock backings. The cardstocks show minor signs of shelf wear consistent with age, including light corner softening and edge wear. Some cards feature original retail price stickers or handwritten inventory codes on the reverse. Figures and accessory sprues appear to be in mint, undisturbed condition.
