Lot 217:
Description
This lot features a collection of ten vintage action figures from the Kenner Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Future War series. The assortment includes John Connor with Motorcycle, Endoglow Terminator, two Hot-Blast Terminators, Hidden Power Terminator, Cyber-Grip Villain, Blaster T-1000, White-Hot T-1000, and two Metal-Mash Terminators. Each figure is manufactured from molded plastic and vinyl, featuring unique action mechanisms and character-specific accessories. The figures are factory-sealed on their original color-printed cardstock backings, which bear the Kenner logo and are marked Made in China. This collection showcases the diverse character variants and futuristic designs produced during the peak of the franchise’s popularity in the early 1990s. Dimensions approximately 13 inches by 8 inches.
Condition: All figures remain factory-sealed and are in mint, unused condition. The original blister-pack packaging is intact. The cardstock backings show varying degrees of shelf wear consistent with age, including edge softening, minor creasing, and corner wear. Original retail price stickers and bright orange closeout tags are present on several cards, with some adhesive residue from previous labels. The plastic blisters remain generally clear and firmly attached to the cardstock.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program. Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
Condition report:
All 14 figures are in their original, unopened factory packaging. The card backs show varying degrees of shelf wear consistent with age, including corner blunting, edge wear, and some surface creasing. Several cards exhibit minor \"veining\" or stress marks near the hanger holes. The plastic blister bubbles remain firmly attached to the cards, though several show typical age-related yellowing or ambering and light surface scuffing. The figures and their respective accessory trees appear intact and undisturbed. One Raphael card shows more significant creasing to the upper left corner. Overall, the collection presents well as a high-grade survivor lot of original retail stock.
