Description
This collection features a series of celebrity fashion dolls produced by Diversified Specialists, Inc. (DSI) and Hasbro during the early to mid-1990s. The lot includes several vinyl dolls from DSI’s An American Beauty Classic Collector’s Series depicting Marilyn Monroe, with specific models including Emerald Evening Marilyn in a green sequined gown, Sparkle Superstar Marilyn in a red and black ensemble, and Fur Fantasy Marilyn featuring a leopard print skirt and black faux fur trim. Also present are two James Dean dolls from DSI’s The Legend Lives On series, titled City Streets Dean and Rebel Rouser Dean. The collection is completed by a Hasbro Teen Idol Elvis Presley doll, which includes a miniature guitar and microphone accessory. The dolls feature detailed fabric costuming and are housed in their original window display boxes. Most packaging carries copyright dates between 1993 and 1995 and identifies the place of manufacture as China. Measuring approximately 15.5 inches x 12 inches.
Condition: The dolls remain in original, unused condition within their factory packaging. The window display boxes show signs of minor shelf wear, including edge rubbing and some remnants of original retail price or clearance stickers. The clear plastic windows are intact, though some may exhibit light surface scuffing. All items appear complete with original parts and accessories as issued.
