This vintage Luke Skywalker Large Size Action Figure was manufactured by Kenner under the General Mills Fun Group, Inc. in Hong Kong circa 1978. Designated as model No. 38080, the figure stands 11 3/4 inches tall and is constructed of poseable plastic with a molded vinyl head. The character is outfitted in an authentic fabric Tatooine desert costume and includes its original black utility belt, lightsaber, and grappling hook accessories. The figure is housed in its original cardboard window-box packaging, which features iconic photographic stills of the character and illustrative graphics. The pictorial content carries a 1977 copyright by Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation. This piece represents the classic 12-inch scale line released during the height of the original film’s popularity. Figure height is 11.75 inches.
Condition: The original packaging exhibits visible shelf wear consistent with age, including scuffing at the corners, creasing along the edges, and a puncture on the lower-left side panel larger then a quarter. The top flap shows evidence of having been opened. The box features a handwritten lot number on the top surface. The internal figure and accessories appear well-preserved, though the box is no longer factory sealed.

Professionally graded AFA 85 Y-NM+. The figure and card remain in exceptional condition. The Y designation on the AFA label notes light yellowing of the factory-sealed blister pack, a common occurrence with original 1980s plastics. The cardback shows minimal shelf wear, maintaining sharp corners and vibrant color. The figure and all internal components, including the collector coin and weapon, are original and undisturbed.
