Pop Culture Time Capsule: TV Memorabilia & Vintage Toys
Lot 34:
A collection of two vintage 1986 Bionic Six poseable action figures manufactured by LJN Toys Ltd. This lot features the characters Eric (The Bennett Family) and Madame-O (Dr. Scarab’s Evil Minions of Destruction). Both figures are constructed using the series’ signature combination of durable die-cast metal and plastic components. The Eric figure is presented on a bilingual English and French card back indicating distribution by Grand Toys of Canada and includes his character-specific baseball glove and bat. The Madame-O figure is on a standard US market card with an LJN New York address and includes her original green and black weaponry. Both items carry a 1986 copyright for MCA TV and were manufactured in China. These figures are highly sought after by collectors for their unique metallic weight and association with the popular 1980s animated series. Each card measures approximately 9 by 7 inches.
Condition: Both figures are factory-sealed in their original blister packaging. The card backs exhibit age-related shelf wear, including visible creasing, edge wear, and blunting at the corners. The plastic blister for the Eric figure remains relatively clear, while the Madame-O blister shows significant yellowing or ambering typical of 1980s plastic materials. Both figures and their respective accessories appear complete and in original, unplayed-with condition.
Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program. Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
