Description

A vintage Star Wars 3 Position Laser Rifle manufactured by Kenner, Model No. 38120. This electronic toy is constructed of molded black plastic and features an adjustable stock, a simulated scope, and a rotating interior barrel visible through the housing vents. The rifle is designed to produce two different laser sound effects via a secret button and trigger mechanism. It is housed in its original pictorial display box, which prominently features imagery of Luke Skywalker and demonstrates the three tactical positions: Laser Battle, Sneak Attack, and Standing Guard. The packaging carries a copyright date of 1977 by the Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation. Approximately 11 x 27.5 x 3 inches.

Condition: The toy remains in its original packaging and appears to be in excellent, unplayed-with condition. The electronic functions are untested as the item is secured in the box; requires two D batteries for operation. The original box shows moderate to heavy shelf wear consistent with age, including surface creasing, corner crushing, and edge scuffing. The clear plastic window is scuffed and shows signs of partial detachment and tearing. An external auction tag is attached to the side.

Notice to bidders: The absence of a condition report does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Photos are considered part of the condition report. Complete condition information is available by request, please request no later than 24 hours prior to the auction. All lots are offered and sold "as is", and Willow Auctions will not provide refunds based on condition. Timepiece movements, lighting and electrics have not been tested, and art has not been examined out of the frame unless otherwise stated. We have our own in-house shipping program.  Please request in-house shipping, if needed.
