Description
Kenner 1984 Star Wars mail-away promotional action figure set featuring The Emperor. The set includes the original white cardboard mailer box and a Star Wars Return of the Jedi Collections promotional booklet. The reverse of the booklet contains an Official Star Wars Fan Club Membership Application Form with a 1983 copyright date. This item has been professionally graded by CAS (Collector Archive Services) and is housed in a custom archival acrylic display case. Acrylic case 5 1/2" H x 12" W x 2" D.
Condition: The set has received an overall archival grade of 80 from CAS, with specific sub-grades of B80 for the box, W90 for the baggie, and F90 for the figure. The action figure is in mint, factory-sealed condition. The white mailer box shows characteristic age-related toning and retains original yellowed tape residue on the back. The promotional booklet is crisp with minimal wear. The acrylic display case is in excellent condition.

Condition report:
Professionally graded by AFA as 50 Y-VG (Very Good). Subgrades are C60 for the card, B50 for the bubble, and F85 for the figure. The card is unpunched but shows significant tearing and creasing around the hanger hole, as well as general edge wear and shelf wear. The plastic blister bubble exhibits significant yellowing consistent with age, which is reflected in the \"Y\" designation of the grade. The figure remains in excellent, factory-sealed condition.
