This vintage plush toy represents The Original Fury, T.V.’s Favorite Horse, a licensed character from the popular 1950s television series. The horse is designed in a reclining pose with a black stuffed plush body and a detailed molded vinyl head. The head features blue eyes, painted eyelashes, and a white forelock, complemented by a white yarn mane and tail. The toy is complete with its original red plastic bridle and saddle, along with white plush accents on the front hooves. Included with the item is a period corrugated cardboard shipping box from the Hercules Corrugated Box Corporation of Brooklyn, New York, which bears a blue manufacturer’s stamp and the stamped number 1403. This piece carries significant auction provenance, having been previously featured in a 2014 Morphy Auctions sale (Lot 489). Dimensions: 9 x 14 inches.
Condition: The toy is in good, complete condition with minor age-appropriate wear to the plush material and molded vinyl head. The red plastic accessories remain intact. The original shipping box exhibits expected wear, toning, and minor structural creasing consistent with its age and function.
