Description
Dr. Berkowitz commissioned this replica of the bridge from the starship Enterprise. A collection of science fiction themed prop replicas modeled after the control consoles and command chairs from the 1960s television series Star Trek The lot includes multiple illuminated consoles constructed from painted wood, acrylic, and metal. These units feature various colored buttons, toggle switches, and static display panels with terminology including ENCRYPT SELECT CONNECT, MASTER SCREEN CONTROL, and ASTROGATOR DISPLAY. The set also includes several mid-century modern style swivel chairs with blue shells and black upholstered pads. One chair is embossed with the manufacturer’s mark BURKE, INC. DALLAS, TEXAS 115. The pieces exhibit a range of completion, from fully assembled units with internal LED and incandescent lighting to unfinished wooden structural frames showing internal wiring. Accompanying the items is a group of hand-drawn assembly diagrams and technical notes providing instructions for power connections, maintenance, and specific paint codes for the finishes. Also included is a boxed U.S.S. Enterprise dedication plaque from The Official Starships Collection. The items are in overall good condition as high-quality replicas. Visible surface wear is minor and consistent with handling and assembly. Some components remain in an unfinished state as wooden frames. Technical notes indicate that paint touch-ups may be required on edges where components meet. Internal wiring is present but untested.
