Description
Two vintage vinyl-covered playsets from the 1970s. The first item is a Flash Gordon Playset manufactured for Mego in 1977. The exterior is decorated with colorful graphic panels of characters and alien landscapes. The interior includes a yellow plastic console, a bag containing various small plastic accessories, and a paper pamphlet. The second item is a Batman Batcave playset in the style of Mego. It features a wedge-shaped design with illustrated rocky cliff exteriors and a yellow latch with a black bat symbol. The interior graphics depict a laboratory and computer systems. Largest (Flash Gordon) 12″ H x 15″ W x 10″ D.
Condition report:
Both pieces show age-appropriate wear including scuffing, edge wear, and surface dust. The vinyl covers exhibit some light creasing and minor surface abrasions consistent with use and age.
