Description
Vintage Hasbro G.I. Joe “Mean Dog” vehicle and action figure set from the “A Real American Hero” series, produced c. 1988. The set features a 3-in-1 design that separates into a gun pod, a missile attack vehicle, and an armed recon scout car. The unassembled components include large treaded tires, chassis sections, and a gun turret assembly. A factory-sealed sprue of white plastic missiles is contained within a clear plastic bag. The set includes the “Wildcard” driver action figure, which remains sealed in its original clear plastic bubble on cardstock backing. 10.5″ H x 19″ W x 4.5″ D.
Condition report:
The original packaging is open and exhibits moderate shelf wear, including edge scuffing, corner compression, and the presence of an original retail price sticker. Internal vehicle components are unassembled and appear to be in excellent, unplayed-with condition; however, the set has not been fully inventoried for small parts or total completeness. The Wildcard action figure is mint-on-card (MOC) within the box, with the bubble remaining firmly attached to the backing.
