Description
Vintage Japanese wind-up toy depicting the super robot Steel Jeeg manufactured by Takara c. 1975. Features a hybrid construction of a multi-colored tin lithograph body with a plastic head and foot bases. Powered by an integrated metal wind-up key and lever system. 8.5″ H x 3.5″ W.
Condition report:
The toy is in good vintage condition, exhibiting surface wear consistent with age and play. The lithographed tin body shows minor scratches, small areas of paint loss, and light oxidation at the seams. The molded plastic head and ears are intact with no significant chips or cracks. The wind-up mechanism is functional, though the internal gears and rubber rollers may show signs of stiffening due to age. The original TOEI DOGA sticker is present with minor edge wear and toning.
