Description
Large abstract mixed media painting on canvas with applied pigments in watercolor-like washes. Several pieces of gold leaf applied in irregular shapes. Signed Lawson in the lower right. 40 1/2 x 40 1/2 inches.
Condition report:
The canvas remains taut on the strainer, and the pigment and applied gold leaf appear stable with no visible signs of flaking or loss. There are no apparent tears, punctures, or repairs to the canvas. The metal frame shows minor surface scuffing and light wear consistent with age and handling.
